Disney Princesses

This is what I did instead of staring at a computer screen for a while cuz I have a headache, most likely from staring at a computer screen all day every day at work.
Explanation as to why I don't think Mulan is a princess:  She doesn't marry a prince.  As simple as that.  She ends up with a general.  Not the same thing as a prince.
Anyways.  I don't know if I missed one or not.  Those are ones that I remember off the top of my head.  And colors are sparse.  I don't have much to work with, but oh well.  It all worked out (minus my fat looking Ariel).

Asian Translations

Last night, Robert and I were watching a little bit of Jay Leno before we went to bed, and he said something that just made us laugh. "Yesterday morning, Facebook was offline, which gave people nothing to do but their jobs."
Maybe you guys didn't find it that funny, but Robert and I sure did.  He was even laughing about it later as he was brushing his teeth.  I hear snickering in the bathroom, and when he comes out, I was like: "Why were you laughing?" Then he quotes Jay Leno.  What a silly boy.

I decided to put funny Asian translations on here.  You'd appreciate it more if you have lived/visited an Asian country before.  But I just had to put this walking sleeping bag picture on here first.

Grass is hard to come by in big cities in countries like China, so this is their way of saying: Don't walk on the grass.

There was also another picture my mom or dad took while we were living in China, and it said: "No Louding".  That was one of our favorites.

Being Crafty & Making a Calendar

Yesterday Emily Thruston and I made dry erase calendars for our apartments.  They turned out way cute!
 The Day's Calendar

Okay, I forgot it was still June & accidentally put July. I changed it later after Emily pointed out the July calendar was wrong.
 The Thruston's calendar
Our inspiration came from Pinterest from two different sources. Source 1 and Source 2.  Source 1 uses excel to make the calendar, but I am more Word savvy, so I made the calendar on Word.  Source 2 also uses this scrap booking website to create some of her stuff, but we didn't use that.  Just word.
So Emily and I first went to Michael's and we picked up our frames there, cuz they had a lot, and the majority had some sort of sale.  We were going to get regular frames, but then we saw these "floating" frames, and Emily thought it would be cool to have the calendar in a floating frame, so she got one.  I decided to try it out as well.  Michael's didn't have a good variety of paper to choose from, so good thing Hobby Lobby was down the street!  They had tons of paper, which made it even harder to choose from.  But after forever, I finally decided on paper.  Yup.  That's craft #1 from Pinterest.

Idaho & My Bad Dream

Another weekend in Idaho!  This time we went up for Robert's grandparent's 50th anniversary.  It was a busy weekend, but it was good.
I did Emmali's hair in the car so we could be twins.  It was a little hard doing her hair from the angle I was sitting at.
Robert's crazy hair one morning (no, he didn't wake up like this.  He made it like this after he got his hair wet.)
We ate at the Taco Bus. So good!
Emmali accidentally dropped her knife at the taco bus and it stabbed me.  Luckily it didn't pierce the skin, and it happened to land right next to the vein.  Close call.
Yup.  That was Idaho.  And I had this dream Saturday morning that made me wake up in tears.  Here's what it was:

I was going to the mall with my sisters, Kajsia and Tanaya, and my cousin, McKell.  They were going to go watch a movie, but they kept ignoring me and didn't invite me.  My mom and her 3 friends went to go shopping.  So I decided to try out the dentist kiosks at the mall because I haven't had a check-up in a while.  There were 2 of them.  One was just teeth cleaning like the dentist does during check-ups, and the other booth was to see if you had any rotting teeth.  At the rotting teeth kiosk, there was a sign saying how you need to drink water and stay hydrated or your teeth will start to rot.  I wanted to go to the cleaning teeth kiosk first, but the dentist was already cleaning someone else's teeth, so I just went to the teeth rotting kiosk.  The lady at the rotting teeth kiosk is a lady I know (let's call her Jane) who has her front tooth missing, but in the dream she put in a fake tooth in her gap.  When I went to the rotting teeth kiosk, Jane was telling me about how teeth rot, then mom all of a sudden comes in, talking to Jane in Taiwanese because they somehow knew each other.  Then mom starts acting like a kid or something cuz she's like: "I don't have to work anymore, so all I get to do is shop!" (She was more whiny in my dream).  Jane was telling her to grow up, so my mom left to continue shopping.  Then, Jane started talking about rotting teeth again and as she's talking, I feel like some of my teeth are super soft and rotting, so I pull out the top part of my jaw, like they were dentures but not, and I could see my teeth that felt soft, and they were grey.  The roots were also a dark grey color, and I poked some of my rotting teeth, and they just squished in and turned an even darker color.  I was freaking out as Jane talked.  I put my "dentures" back in, and all of a sudden, some of my teeth started falling out.  There were 2 other girls at the booth too, listening to Jane and watching me.  Then Jane sees my teeth and there are like 7 that fell out.  I was so scared and embarrassed (especially with 2 random girls there) and Jane cleans the fallen out teeth so she can make fake ones for me.  She said it'd take a few days, so I'd be toothless for a while.  I was scared and wanted to cry, but I didn't.  Robert was coming to pick me up, so I went outside.  Bishop Murphy (the single's ward bishop) showed up and talked about cleaning his teeth and how drinking 1/3 cup of milk once a week helps prevent rotting teeth (he went to the kiosks earlier), and I just lost it.  I started bawling, and Nichole and Shay (two of my friends in Springville) arrived cuz they were ending their single's ward activity at the mall.  They started singing a song, along with Bishop Murphy, while I'm sitting there bawling and not wanting Robert to see me with gaps in my mouth.  Bishop Murphy includes my name in the song to try and cheer me up (they all don't even know why I'm bawling), then Robert pulls up.

That was the end of my dream.  I woke up bawling, since I was bawling in my dream.  Haha.

Sleeping Position

During break today at work after Robert and I ate our lunch, we decided to take a nap.  I found this position that was super comfortable, even though it looks like I'm being choked.

Ew.  I look ugly when I sleep.
I think it helps that Robert's arms aren't bony like mine.  His arms make for a nice, secure pillow.

Hike 2: The Y

Yesterday evening, Robert texted me, telling me we were going hiking with the Christensens.  At 9.  So we left around 9:20 or so, and we finished at like 11:20ish.  I don't remember.  These times are just guesses.  But that is why I woke up tired this morning.  I didn't end up going to bed until around 12:30 because I still had to go home and shower.  I'm kinda awake now, but not much.  I could definitely go back to bed if I could.

The hike to the Y was good though because I took it slow in the beginning, plus the way down was all downhill so I wasn't dying.  It was a little hard hiking down at night in the dark though.  I tripped/almost fell like four times.  We just relied on moonlight (actually, I didn't even see the moon) and man-made lights from the city.  The stars didn't do nothin', so it was pretty much just the man-made lights that helped guide us down the path (which wasn't much).

So this weekend we got some cherries from my grandparents.  They are so good!  They're smooth and perfect.  I've only found one rotten one.
Eating cherries while waiting for Robert to pick me up from work cuz I didn't realize how close I was to finishing Matched so I had nothing to do.

Yup.  That was my exciting day yesterday.  Oh, and I watched "The Bachelorette", and I am sooooooooooooo happy Emily finally got rid of Ryan.  He was a jerk, and I don't know why she kept him on the show (they probably made her keep him on to keep the drama alive on the show).  Anyways.  I am glad he's off.

Stuart Falls

This weekend Robert and I hiked Stuart Falls with the Thrustons and Grimmers.  Two other couples were supposed to come as well, but ended up not going.  The first half of the hike to the falls was good, but I thought I was going to die the second half.  I guess I just wore myself out during the first half.  It was terrible.  I am so out of shape.  I run here and there, but I need to be consistent.  Things just get "planned" every time it's a running day.  Oh well.  At least I'm being active every now and then.
The group part way to the Falls.
The boys acting like they're so tough.
 The girlies.
Robert and I.  I don't know why he doesn't smile in any of these.  Turd.
Robert and I at Stuart Falls.
The mist sure felt good once we got near the water.  It was hot on Saturday!  We hung out at the Falls for a while (Howard, Jordan, and Gabrielle went under the waterfall... crazies.  The water was ice cold.) and started hiking back.  The second half, as I said, was terrible.  I just wore myself out the first half.  Emily was tired and fed up with hiking, so she decided to run the rest of the way (I don't know how she was able to run when she had as much energy as I did haha).  The Grimmers are already in shape so they were able to keep up with Emily and Howard running (I think they just ran with them or walked as fast as they ran haha. Not sure, since Robert and I played caboose).  So Robert and I were hiking all by ourselves, way behind the other 4.  Robert was patient and nice enough to lag behind with me and keep me motivated :)  He kept on wanting to carry me because he wanted to work his legs out (he's shooting for a rugby player's physique because he really wants to try out for the rugby team come fall time).  I should have been glad that he wanted to carry me, right?  False.  I have this thing when I'm hiking where once I start, I have to keep going, no matter how exhausted I am.  But with breaks in between, of course :).  Another part of me was nervous that Robert would trip on a rock or root of a tree and send us to the ground, resulting in me being squooshed to death, or sending both Robert and I to our deaths as we roll down a cliff.  So I would tell him to wait until a somewhat flat part of the path to keep us both alive ("But I gots athleticism, and athleticism doesn't trip," Robert kept saying).  But, after a nice walk back to the car (or bumpy when I was on Robert's back and he was running), I got to sit down and rest for the rest of the way home.

After hiking, Robert had to go to singing practice for a church thing (the boys in the choir sang "The Spirit of God" by Voice Male) and afterwards we decided to try the burgers and fries at the Malt Shoppe across the street and diagonal from our apartment complex.  They're famous for their shakes (which are very good by the way), but their burgers and fries are good as well, as we found out that day.  It was a good day, but I was so exhausted.
