Memorial Day Weekend

First thing's first.  This morning as Robert was taking me to work, we were stopped at a stop light when he says: "Ew this guy picked his nose and ate it!" So I look behind me and sure enough, this old man is picking his nose and eating his boogers.  I thought only little kids did that, but he must like the taste of boogers I guess.

This weekend... what did I do to start off my weekend? I don't remember. I just remember Sunday and Monday.  Okay, I remember most of it now!

So Friday after work, Robert and I had some chicken alfredo and watched Hook.

On Saturday, Robert and I slept in.  After waking up, we ate breakfast and watched some Shark Tank (I think... we watched some on Sunday, but I think we watched one on Saturday).  Robert then had to work from 2-5 so during that time, I watched the Bachelorette and practiced my talk for about half an hour.  Robert came home and we ran to the library so I could pick up two books that were on hold for me, then we drove to Springville to go to a graduation party for Robert's friend's brothers.

Sunday was speaking day.  Glad I could get the talk over with.  After church, Robert and I went to my family's house and ate homemade Cafe Rio (it was delish!).  After dinner, we sat around and relaxed, and entertained ourselves.  This is what we did to entertain ourselves:
Don't judge.  Later we went to my grandparent's house for like an hour, then Robert and I had a sleep over with two couples (the Thrustons and Christensens) in our ward (the Christensens ended up leaving at like 1 in the morning though).  We watched Shark Tank from about 10:30 to 2 in the morning.  It's such a good show.  We all went to bed at around 2:30.

Monday we woke up, and Howard and Emily left and Robert and I had breakfast.  After breakfast we got ready for the day and headed over to my grandparent's house for a BBQ.  We ate, tossed a rugby ball around, then Robert and I left to go swimming with the Thrustons at Glenwood.  I needed some sun (this is the first time I am not darker than my sisters... I just haven't had time to sit out), but sadly did not get much.  After swimming, Howard and Emily went to buy stuff for hamburgers and hot dogs, while Robert and I took a shower and cleaned up from the pool (Howard and Emily didn't get in the pool).  Then, we had hamburgers and hot dogs and watched "Warrior".  That was the end of our Memorial Day Weekend.
