America's Got Talent

Robert and I have been watching "America's Got Talent" (even though we're a tad behind... we've just been watching on Hulu), and last night I could not stop laughing at one part.  I was laughing so hard, it turned into crying.  Not laughing with tears coming out my eyes, but crying.  With tears, a frown, the whole works.  And this is what Robert and I kept laughing (or crying, in my case) at:

Pause--let me set up the story for those of you who don't watch the show.  So there are three judges: Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne, and Howard Stern.  So there was a kid who claimed he could sing, dance, and entertain.  The music comes on, and he's "dancing" forever before he even starts singing, so Howard and Sharon push their X's (which means, boo, I vote no).  Howie doesn't push his button until the boy starts singing, because his singing was just as bad as his dancing (maybe worse).  Howard's mom and dad were in the audience that night, and after everyone X'd the boy, Howard said (something like this, not exact words): "When I was younger and I did something stupid and moronic, my father would pull me aside and tell me how stupid and moronic I was."  So Howard tells his dad to go on stage and show the audience how it kinda went.  After the demonstration, this is how the conversation went:

Howard: "I dunno what job would suit you.  You're not that bright."
Boy: "Actually, I graduated when I was 15."
Howard: "Graduated from what?"
Boy: "From high school."
Howard: "Oh, you're that bright huh?"
Boy: "Yes ma'am."

HAHAHAHA that just cracked me up!  I mean, it would've been funny if the boy called Howard ma'am at any other time, but right after claiming he was bright since he graduated from high school at 15 just made it even better!  Oh man.  If you're not laughing, just watch the clip.
