On Monday, we headed over to Santa Monica Pier to meet up with Tina and Emmali. As always, the water was freezing, and so was the breeze coming off the ocean. But Myla loved playing in the water and sand, and Aria loved eating it.
On Tuesday, we headed over to the Disneyland Hotel and checked out parts of the Disneyland Hotel, Downtown Disney, and spent the afternoon at the pool.
She got a cool balloon crown made at dinner |
Myla was loving the music as you can see.
Wednesday: California Adventure Day.
Ready to start our Disney adventure! |
As you can see, the Guardians of the Galaxy ride is not my fav. |
The kids did so good! We were constantly on the go and it was sweltering hot in that humidity, and the kids were champs! Plus Myla was kind of bummed because a lot of the rides she wasn't tall enough to ride on, so it was just a day with a lot of sitting around and waiting while the adults went on rides.
Thursday: Disneyland Day.
The kids were super tired from the day before, so there was a lot of crying and whining, but it was still a super fun day!
Myla was in heaven when she got to meet a lot of her favorite characters! Every time she saw a character, she would put her hands out and say, "I want to give him/her a hug!" Aria was also a fan of the characters (the stuffed looking ones). She was so fascinated with them and kept grabbing their noses.
Rabbit gave Myla the longest hug ever. It was beginning to get a little awkward hahaha. The video didn't even capture the entire hug.
Myla was a little scared to see Darth Vader because "he's a bad guy". |
You can see part of the "tired and whiny kids" in this picture. Myla was excited to see Chewbacca, but Weston started crying because he was scared, so she started crying and getting scared. |
And then she had a meltdown because she couldn't find R2D2 anywhere in that museum.
Myla really wanted to see the princesses as well, but she was not as excited when she could tell they were real people too.
When we turned the next corner, Myla saw Snow White standing there and she put her hand over her mouth in excitement! She was fangirling from afar, but when she got close, she got shy.
Waiting for the Electric Parade |
