I think the most memorable move was moving back to Utah after 5 1/2 years of living in China. I don't know if it's the most memorable because it was the most recent move, but I remember being excited to move back to the States. Don't get me wrong, it was a good experience living in China and I have many fond memories from living there, but every time we came back to visit during the summers and Christmases, I wished we didn't have to go back. There were just things I missed about the USA every time we came back for visits—extended family, blue skies (when you can't see the sun and the sky is constantly a murky brown, it's a problem), clean sidewalks/roads (I don't have to constantly watch where I'm stepping in fear of slipping on a hocked up loogie or red splat of tobacco), cute boys (the options were limited...), less people (way too crowded for my taste), good ol' greasy American burgers (although I prefer Asian food over American food), etc.
While we're on the subject of moving, we have about a month left here in Utah :(. We are onto new adventures in Albuquerque after Robert graduates. We got the house we were looking at, so it's nice not to have to worry about not having a place to live. Here's to another moving adventure, which I'm sure will be memorable. Now, whether it's memorable for good reasons or bad reasons (especially with two little ones), I guess we'll see ;).
